I will teach you the tactical processes & unwritten rules of venture capital.
Five years ago, I was being rejected over and over again by VC firms.
I lost count of the number of rejections that had piled up in my inbox. I prepared relentlessly, but none of it seemed to make a difference. Every interview ended the same way. I would have a great conversation (or so I thought) with an investor and receive a rejection email a few days later.
Sound familiar?
After the last rejection, I took a different approach.
Instead, I started doing the job.
Once I made this switch, everything changed. I saw every email, conversation, and interview as a chance to show them I could do this. Not tell them, SHOW THEM. In order to be a venture capitalist, I needed to start acting like one. Ultimately, I landed a job in venture capital.
Today, I run a $30M+ fund with 10+ portfolio companies.
